The PPSC interview is the last stage of the selection process. You reach it after you pass the written test and your name appears on the shortlist. PPSC holds interviews post by post, so there is no single interview date for all candidates. Your own date, time and venue are printed on your interview call letter. The current round runs from 3 to 13 November 2026, with interviews in Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan and Rawalpindi.
This guide gives you the current schedule, the steps to download your call letter, and the full list of documents to bring. Check your own date on ppsc.gop.pk. Only ppsc.gop.pk is the official source.

What Is a PPSC Interview?#
The PPSC interview is the final stage of recruitment for most posts. It comes after the written test and the shortlist. A panel interviews each shortlisted candidate, one by one.
The interview is not a written exam. The panel asks about the post, your background and general awareness. It checks how clearly you communicate, how well you understand the job, and how you handle pressure.
The interview is not a formality. A weak interview can pull down a strong written score. The final merit list combines your written test score and your interview score. Our PPSC written result guide explains how the shortlist works. Our PPSC final result guide explains how the merit list is prepared.

This table lists the interviews scheduled for 3 to 13 November 2026. PPSC adds dates as more written results are announced. If your post is not in the list, your interview has not been scheduled yet. Confirm your own date on ppsc.gop.pk before you travel.
How to Check Your PPSC Interview Date#
Your interview date depends on your post and case number. Check it on the PPSC website, not on a Facebook page or WhatsApp group.
- Open ppsc.gop.pk.
- Open the Schedule menu and select Interviews. The page lists interviews post by post.
- Find your post and case number. Match both with your advertisement.
- Note the date and the station. The station is the city where your interview is held.
- Download your call letter. It gives your exact reporting time and venue.
The schedule table gives the date and city only. Your call letter gives the reporting time and the venue address. If your post is not in the schedule, your written result may not be announced yet. Check the PPSC result guide to see where your post stands.
How to Download Your PPSC Interview Call Letter#
The interview call letter is also called the admission letter. Both names mean the same document. PPSC uploads the letter once the interview schedule is approved. At least 6 days before your interview, PPSC sends an SMS and an email with your date, time and place.
- Open ppsc.gop.pk.
- Open the Print Admission Letter section, or your candidate login.
- Enter your CNIC number or your earlier roll number.
- Find your post and download the PDF.
- Print it on plain A4 paper.
Print two copies. Keep one to submit and one for your own record. Make sure the roll number, photo and QR code are clear and not cut off. Do not fold the letter over the barcode or QR code area. Some venues scan it at the gate.
Letters are uploaded in phases, not all at once. If your letter is not showing yet, PPSC has probably not uploaded it for your batch. Recheck the portal the next day. Do not wait until the interview morning to print it.

What Is on the Call Letter?#
Your call letter shows your name and roll number, the post you applied for, the interview date and reporting time, the venue address, and the documents you must bring.
Read it the day you download it. Check the date, the time and the venue. If anything is wrong, contact PPSC before your interview day. Without the letter, you will generally not be allowed to sit for the interview.
Call Letter vs Roll Number Slip#
Candidates often mix up these two documents. PPSC sometimes issues them as one combined document. Sometimes it issues two separate documents: a roll number slip for the written test, and a separate call letter for the interview. The practice varies by advertisement.
Always check the notice for your post. When in doubt, bring both printouts. Our roll number slip guide explains how to download the slip for each body.

Documents to Bring to the PPSC Interview#
Bring originals. Photocopies alone are not enough. PPSC checks your original documents at the interview. Bring the exact documents listed on your own call letter. The list can change by post.
| Document | Why PPSC asks for it |
|---|---|
| Printed interview call letter | Entry to the interview; shows your date, time and venue |
| Original CNIC | Identity verification |
| Matric certificate | Proof of date of birth and age |
| Intermediate certificate | Academic verification |
| Bachelor’s or Master’s degree | The degree the post requires |
| Detailed marks certificates (DMCs) | Your marks record for each degree |
| Domicile certificate | Proof of Punjab domicile |
| Experience certificate | Only for posts that demand experience |
| Passport-size photographs | Recent and clear |
| Disability or medical certificate | Only if your post or quota needs it |
Keep everything in one folder: your CNIC, your degrees and DMCs, your experience letters and the call letter itself. Our documents checklist explains each document in detail. Our domicile guide explains how to get the certificate. HEC attestation is explained in our HEC guide, IBCC attestation in our IBCC guide, and the experience certificate format in our experience certificate guide.
How the Interview Affects Your Final Merit#
The final merit list combines your written test score and your interview score. The exact split varies by post, so check your advertisement. Academic marks do not decide merit on their own.
The panel measures how clearly you communicate, how well you understand the post, your general awareness, how you handle pressure, and your presentation. Prepare the exact documents listed on your letter, and arrive well before the reporting time.
For PMS, you need 40% in each subjective paper and 50% in the aggregate to qualify for the interview. PMS candidates also go through a psychological assessment before the interview. In 2026, 344 candidates qualified for the PMS interview stage against 119 BS-17 posts.
What Happens After the Interview?#
The interview result usually comes 4 to 8 weeks after the interviews. The final merit list usually follows 4 to 12 weeks after the interview stage.
The final list names the recommended candidates. PPSC then forwards the recommendation to the department. The department issues the appointment letter. You then submit a joining report. Our joining letter guide explains the format. Our PPSC final result guide explains the merit list in detail.
What to Do If Your Call Letter Has Not Arrived#
A missing letter usually means PPSC has not uploaded it for your batch yet. Do not panic, but do not ignore it either.
- Recheck the PPSC portal under your login. Letters are sometimes uploaded closer to the date than expected.
- Confirm your registered mobile number and email are correct. PPSC sends the alert by SMS and email.
- Keep your application number and CNIC ready. You will need them when you call.
- Contact the PPSC helpline directly. Call 042-111-988-722 or email ppsc@punjab.gov.pk.
- Do not rely on social media groups or agents. Only ppsc.gop.pk is the official source.
Anyone who asks you for money for a call letter, an interview date or a guaranteed selection is a fraud. No one can sell you a PPSC interview. Our fake job ads guide explains how to spot these scams and where to report them.
If you lost your token number, our PPSC apply guide explains how to recover it with your CNIC and date of birth.
Mistakes to Avoid#

- Arriving late. Reach the venue well before the reporting time on your letter.
- Trusting a date from a Facebook page or WhatsApp group. Check ppsc.gop.pk.
- Paying anyone for a call letter or a date. PPSC issues call letters free on its own website.
