PPSC Final Result 2026 — Merit List & Recommendations

The PPSC final result is the merit list published after the interview. It names the candidates PPSC recommends to the department for appointment. Check it on the official website, www.ppsc.gop.pk, under Results, then Final Recommendations – Complete Merit List.

This page explains the two final-result documents, how to check the merit list, what the list shows, the recent final results, and what happens after your name appears on it.

The final result comes after the interview. PPSC combines the written test and interview scores, ranks the candidates, and publishes the merit list. It is the last stage PPSC controls.

PPSC publishes two documents. Final Recommendations names the candidates formally recommended to the department for appointment. Final Recommendations – Complete Merit List shows the full ranked list, with every candidate’s position, not just those selected.

The final result is different from the written result. The written result only decides who goes to the interview. Our PPSC written result guide covers that stage, and our PPSC result guide covers all four stages together.

Unlike the written result, the complete merit list is a full document to scan. There is no individual CNIC search for it. Keep your application number and roll number ready.

1. Open www.ppsc.gop.pk. Type the address yourself. Do not follow a result link from an SMS or a social media post.
2. Click the Results tab. Choose Final Recommendations – Complete Merit List.
3. Find your post. Locate your post title or case number in the list and open its PDF.
4. Search your name, application number or merit number. Press Ctrl + F on a computer, or use the search bar on your phone.
5. Save the PDF. Download the merit list and keep a copy. The list can be revised later, so keep the version you saw.

For each candidate, the merit list shows seven things. The table below explains each column.

As an example, the Sergeant (Bahawalnagar) (BS-7) merit list for the Punjab Enforcement and Regulatory Authority, Case 33C2026, recommended 14 candidates. The first row was Application 42100334, Merit 1, ALI RAZA, BAHAWAL, RECOMMENDED, OPEN QUOTA. A later row showed Merit 24, MUHAMMAD HABIB, BAHAWAL, NOT RECOMMENDED.

RECOMMENDED means PPSC has recommended you to the department. NOT RECOMMENDED means you were in the merit list but not selected for appointment. Both appear in the complete merit list.

PPSC announced 16 final merit lists on 2 November 2026, including seven revised merit lists. These are the most recent final results, checked on 4 November 2026.

Final results typically take 2 to 3 months after the interview. This is a general pattern, not a guarantee. Always check the official announcements for your own post rather than counting on a fixed date.

PPSC forwards your recommendation to the department. The department checks your documents and issues the appointment letter. PPSC does not issue the appointment letter itself.

Wait for the department’s appointment letter. It carries your joining date and the office you must report to. Keep your original CNIC and certificates ready.

The merit list is issued for information only. Appearing on it does not confer an absolute right or claim to final selection. If an error or omission is later found in a candidate’s eligibility, result or merit position, PPSC can correct it.

That is why lists are sometimes revised or withdrawn for review even after publication. Seven of the 16 lists announced on 2 November 2026 were revised merit lists. Save the PDF of the list you saw, and check the Results tab again before acting on it.

NOT RECOMMENDED means you were not selected for this post. You were in the merit list, but your merit number was below the number of posts. It is not a mistake in your application.

Download your DMC. Your detailed marks certificate shows your written and interview marks. It is available about 3 days after the result and stays online for 30 days only.

Apply for the next advertisement. PPSC advertises the same posts again in later cycles. Your DMC shows where your marks fell short, so you know what to improve.
