Result Overview
[01]Check your PPSC result on the official website, www.ppsc.gop.pk, under the Results tab. PPSC releases results post-wise, one advertisement at a time, so there is no single result date. Find your post, open its result PDF, and search your roll number.
This page covers the written result, the interview result, the final merit list, and the Detailed Marks Certificate (DMC). It also explains what to do if your roll number is not in the list.

Result Stages: What Comes When
[03]PPSC does not announce all results on one date. Each post moves through the same four stages, and each stage is published separately on the official website.

As an example, the PMS written exam was held from 24 April to 11 May 2026, and its result was announced on 14 September 2026, with 344 candidates qualifying for the psychological assessment and interview for 119 BS-17 posts. Every post has its own dates like these.
How to Check PPSC Result by Roll Number
[04]The written result is a PDF merit list. Your roll number is in it if you passed.
- Open www.ppsc.gop.pk. Type the address yourself. Do not follow a result link from an SMS or a social media post.
- Click the Results tab. Choose Written Results, Interview Results or Final Merit List, as needed.
- Find your post. Locate your post title or case number in the list and open its PDF.
- Search your roll number. Press Ctrl + F on a computer, or use the search bar on your phone, and type your roll number or name.
- Save the PDF. Download the result PDF and keep a copy. The list can be hard to find again once new results are uploaded.
How to Check by CNIC and Download Your DMC
[05]The result PDF shows pass or fail. Your marks are in a separate document, the Detailed Marks Certificate (DMC). PPSC offers six DMC types, and you must pick the right one for your stage.

To download your DMC, open the Results menu, click Detailed Marks Of Candidates, and choose your type. Enter your 13-digit CNIC without dashes, the 4-digit token number from your application email, and your post, then press Check your Record. Save the certificate as a PDF straight away.
A DMC stays on the PPSC website for 30 days only. DMCs are typically available 3 days after the result is published. If you cannot see yours, wait 48 to 72 hours and try again with the same CNIC and token number.
There is no fee and no payment field for a DMC. Anyone asking for money to give you a DMC is not acting for PPSC.
Written Result, Interview Result and Final Merit List
[06]Written result. The list of roll numbers that passed the written test. Only these candidates move to the next stage.
Interview result. The list of candidates called for interview, with the interview schedule. PPSC publishes it after the written result.
Final merit list. The recommended candidates in merit order, after the interview. The hiring department appoints from this list. Final appointment is made by the department, not by PPSC.

What Happens After You Qualify
[07]Download your DMC within 30 days. It is your only record of your marks, and it leaves the website after 30 days.
Prepare for the interview. The interview result page carries the schedule. Bring the documents the interview letter asks for, including your original CNIC and certificates.
Wait for the department’s appointment letter. PPSC recommends candidates; the department issues the appointment letter. The joining report you submit after that is covered in our joining letter guide.
Result Not Showing or Roll Number Not in the List
[08]Check the case number. Make sure you opened the result PDF for your own post and advertisement. A roll number from another post will not be in it.
Check the spelling of your name. Search by roll number first. Name searches fail when the spelling in the list differs from yours.
Wait for the DMC. If the written result is out but your DMC is not showing, wait 48 to 72 hours. DMCs are typically available 3 days after the result.
Do not pay anyone to “find” your result. No agent can add your roll number to a merit list. A site or person asking for money to check or change your result is a scam. Our fake job ads guide explains how to spot one.
