About Field Engineer (Environmental Sciences)
Government of KPK is hiring for the post of Field Engineer (Environmental Sciences) in Peshawar.
The Field Engineer (Environmental Sciences) will conduct environmental impact monitoring and ensure adherence to environmental protocols for PCMU projects.
- Conduct environmental impact monitoring across active construction and revitalization sites.
- Ensure executing agencies adhere to environmental mitigation plans, waste disposal protocols, and pollution control measures.
- Assist in reviewing the urban greening, plantation, and environmental sustainability components of the master plan.
- Draft environmental compliance reports for internal auditing and regulatory oversight.
Requirements for Field Engineer (Environmental Sciences)
Applicants for Field Engineer (Environmental Sciences) must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Education: Bachelor's degree (4 years) or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Management, Environmental Studies, or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized university/institution.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in environmental monitoring, assessment, safeguards or environmental management.
- Preferred Experience: In infrastructure, urban development or public-sector development projects, field environmental inspections, construction-site monitoring, environmental compliance, environmental impact/risks assessment, implementation of mitigation measures and preparation of environmental monitoring reports.
