Eligibility and Qualifications
All applicants must meet the general eligibility criteria for appointment and promotions as stipulated by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PM&DC), Islamabad. Special attention will be given to the Teaching Regulations of PM&DC 2025.
- Professor: Candidates should possess advanced qualifications and significant experience in Paediatrics or Clinical Psychology, adhering to PM&DC guidelines.
- Assistant Professor: Required qualifications and experience in Biochemistry, Pathology (Microbiology), Anatomy, Orthopaedics, Critical Care, Emergency Medicine, Anaesthesiology, Psychiatry, Endocrinology, Neurology, Nephrology, Family Medicine, Pediatrics Neurology, Dermatology, or Cardiology, as per PM&DC standards.
- Senior Registrar: Relevant postgraduate qualifications and experience in Critical Care, Endocrinology, Psychiatry, Neurology, Nephrology, Gastroenterology, General Medicine, Family Medicine, Pediatrics Neurology, Dermatology, or Cardiology, in line with PM&DC regulations.
- Senior Lecturer: Advanced academic qualifications and experience in Behavioral Sciences, meeting PM&DC criteria.
- Speciality Registrar: Preferably MCPS/Diploma pass or completion of relevant training in Pulmonology, Nephrology, Internal Medicine/Medicine, ER, Critical Care/Intensive Care. All qualifications must align with PM&DC requirements.
- Demonstrator: Appropriate qualifications in Pharmacology or Behavioral Sciences, as per PM&DC guidelines.
