About Architect
Government of KPK is hiring for the post of Architect in Peshawar.
The Architect will be responsible for reviewing architectural designs and ensuring they align with cultural heritage, aesthetic consistency, and functionality for PCMU projects.
- Review architectural layouts, facade designs, and urban space remodeling concepts submitted by executing agencies.
- Ensure design interventions maintain the cultural heritage, aesthetic consistency, and functionality of Peshawar's public spaces.
- Collaborate with civil engineers to ensure structural execution matches design specifications.
- Conduct site visits to verify that spatial layouts and finishing works meet approved architectural standards.
Requirements for Architect
Applicants for Architect must hold a Bachelor's degree in Architecture with a minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch.) from an HEC-recognized university/institution. Valid registration with the Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners (PCATP) is mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in architectural design, design review, site supervision or project monitoring.
- Preferred Experience: In urban development, infrastructure, public-sector or development projects, preparation/review of architectural drawings and specifications, site inspections, design coordination, consultant/contractor coordination and monitoring compliance with approved designs, urban revitalization, public spaces, streetscapes, parks, institutional/public buildings or other urban development projects.

- Candidates are not required to submit hard copies of their documents at the time of application. After applying online, don’t send documents to the ETEA office. Copies of test documents will be provided by candidates who qualify the screening test and are called for interview by ETEA or the appointing authority for scrutiny purposes.
- Candidates intending to apply for more than one post must apply separately for each post with a separate fee.
- Original documents along with one set of attested copies of all the relevant documents shall be produced at the time of interview.
