About Field Engineer (Electrical)
Government of KPK is hiring for the post of Field Engineer (Electrical) in Peshawar.
The Field Engineer (Electrical) will inspect and ensure compliance of electrical installations, municipal lighting, and cabling works for PCMU projects.
- Inspect electrical installations, municipal lighting grids, and underground cabling works for quality and compliance.
- Review and verify the technical specifications of electrical equipment procured for project sites.
- Ensure adherence to electrical safety codes, load calculations, and energy efficiency metrics.
- Submit detailed field verification reports detailing installation milestones and system readiness.
Requirements for Field Engineer (Electrical)
Applicants for Field Engineer (Electrical) must hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Education: Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering from an HEC-recognized university. Valid registration with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) is mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in field supervision, execution or monitoring of electrical works.
- Preferred Experience: In infrastructure/development projects, site inspection, quality control, measurement/verification of works, contractor supervision, review of drawings and specifications, testing and commissioning of electrical installations.

- Candidates are not required to submit hard copies of their documents at the time of application. After applying online, don’t send documents to the ETEA office. Copies of test documents will be provided by candidates who qualify the screening test and are called for interview by ETEA or the appointing authority for scrutiny purposes.
- Candidates intending to apply for more than one post must apply separately for each post with a separate fee.
- Original documents along with one set of attested copies of all the relevant documents shall be produced at the time of interview.
