About Data Analyst
Government of KPK is hiring for the post of Data Analyst in Peshawar.
The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, processing, and interpreting quantitative data to support data-driven decision-making and reporting for the PCMU.
- Sort, aggregate, and analyze quantitative data received from field monitoring teams and line departments.
- Perform variance analysis (Planned vs. Actual progress) to flag critical delays or financial discrepancies.
- Generate predictive models and diagnostic reports to support data-driven oversight.
- Translate complex datasets into clear data stories and visualizations for executive consumption.
Requirements for Data Analyst
Applicants for Data Analyst must hold a Master's or 4-year Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Education: Master's degree or 4-year Bachelor's degree (16 years of education) in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Management Sciences, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related discipline from a recognized university/institution.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years' relevant professional experience in data analysis, statistical analysis, business analytics, performance monitoring, management information systems or related fields.
- Skills: Strong analytical and statistical modeling skills, with demonstrated experience in data cleaning, aggregation, validation, quantitative analysis and interpretation of complex datasets.
- Preferred Experience: In public-sector development, infrastructure, project monitoring, donor-funded or multi-agency programmes.

- After successful fee submission, please keep the original deposit slip (candidate copy) having a bank desired stamp with yourself and do not share it with anyone else.
- Candidates are not required to submit hard copies of their documents at the time of application. After applying online, don’t send documents to the ETEA office. Copies of test documents will be provided by candidates who qualify the screening test and are called for interview by ETEA or the appointing authority for scrutiny purposes.
- Candidates intending to apply for more than one post must apply separately for each post with a separate fee.
- Original documents along with one set of attested copies of all the relevant documents shall be produced at the time of interview.
