About National Project Director (NPD)
Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training is hiring for the post of National Project Director (NPD) (1 post) in Islamabad.
The National Project Director will lead and oversee large-scale public-sector development programs and mega projects for the Project Implementation Unit (PIU).
- Manage and coordinate large public-sector/development programs.
- Oversee multi-site infrastructure/education projects.
- Ensure effective procurement, financial management, and inter-governmental coordination.
Requirements for National Project Director (NPD)
Applicants for National Project Director (NPD) must hold a minimum of 16 years' education in a relevant field with extensive senior management experience.
- Education: Minimum 16 years' education (Master's degree or equivalent) in Engineering, Project Management, Management Sciences, Public Administration, Business Administration, Development Studies from an HEC-recognized university.
- Experience: Minimum 20 years' relevant post-qualification experience, including at least 5 years at senior management level (PPS-10 / BPS-20 or above) in the management of large public-sector/development programs or mega projects.
- Project Experience: Must have served as Project Director (PD) / Project Manager (PM) for at least two (02) projects, each having a project cost of Rs. 2.00 billion or above, with clear mention of project names, cost, duration, and nature.
- Preferred Experience: Multi-site infrastructure/education projects, PC-I/PSDP, procurement, financial management, and inter-governmental coordination.
