The Project Implementation Unit (PIU) of the Skills Development & Entrepreneurship Department, Government of the Punjab, has announced exciting career opportunities for qualified and experienced individuals. These positions are part of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) funded ‘Improving Workforce Readiness in Punjab Project’ and are offered purely on a contract basis. Eligibility and Qualifications

Project Manager (Civil Works)

Applicants for Project Manager (Civil Works) must meet the following criteria:

• Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant field. A Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Project Management, or an equivalent qualification, is preferred.
• Experience: Preferably 10 years of relevant professional experience in managing projects in lead positions and contract management.
• Skills: Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English. Working experience in the Punjab region will be considered favorably. Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience in foreign-funded projects, overseas experience, or experience with international organizations and government institutions.
• Age Limit: Up to 55 years.

Accounts Officer

Applicants for Accounts Officer must meet the following criteria:

• Qualification: Preferably a Qualified Accountant (ACMA / ACCA) or a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience: Preferably 08 years of experience in finance and accountancy, including experience in reporting to donors.
• Skills: Good understanding of the laws of Pakistan and Punjab related to accountancy. Experience working for projects financed by ADB and other multi-lateral donors is an advantage. Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience in foreign-funded projects, overseas experience, or experience with international organizations and government institutions.
• Age Limit: Up to 50 years.
