About Accounts Officer
Skills Development & Entrepreneurship Department Project Implementation Unit is hiring for the post of Accounts Officer (1 post) in Lahore.
The Accounts Officer will handle finance and accountancy responsibilities for the Project Implementation Unit, particularly focusing on the financial aspects of the Improving Workforce Readiness in Punjab Project. This is a contract-based position.
- Manage financial records and accounts.
- Prepare and submit reports to donors.
- Ensure compliance with accountancy laws and regulations in Pakistan and Punjab.
- Handle financial aspects of projects funded by ADB and other multi-lateral donors.
Requirements for Accounts Officer
Applicants for Accounts Officer must be a Qualified Accountant (ACMA / ACCA) or hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or an equivalent qualification, along with relevant experience in finance and accountancy.
- Education: Preferably Qualified Accountant (ACMA / ACCA) or Bachelor's in Business Administration or equivalent qualification.
- Experience: Preferably 08 years of experience in finance and accountancy, including reporting to donors.
- Skills: Good understanding of Pakistan and Punjab laws related to accountancy. Experience with projects financed by ADB and other multi-lateral donors is an advantage. Preference for experience with foreign-funded projects, overseas experience, or international organization and Government Institutions.
