About Project Manager (Civil Works)
Skills Development & Entrepreneurship Department Project Implementation Unit is hiring for the post of Project Manager (Civil Works) (1 post) in Lahore.
The Project Manager (Civil Works) will be responsible for managing civil works projects within the Project Implementation Unit for the Improving Workforce Readiness in Punjab Project. This is a contract-based position.
- Manage and oversee civil works projects.
- Ensure effective contract management.
- Lead project teams and ensure project objectives are met.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including foreign-funded project partners and government institutions.
Requirements for Project Manager (Civil Works)
Applicants for Project Manager (Civil Works) must hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant field, with a preference for a Master's in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Project Management, or an equivalent qualification. They should also possess significant professional experience.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or relevant field (Master's in Civil Engineering / Construction Management / Project Manager or equivalent preferred).
- Experience: Preferably 10 years of relevant professional experience in managing projects in lead positions and experience in contract management.
- Skills: Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English. Working experience in the Punjab region is favorable. Preference for experience with foreign-funded projects, overseas experience, or international Organization and Government Institutions.
