Detailed Position Requirements and Descriptions

1. Assistant Manager Bus Compliance

The Assistant Manager Bus Compliance reports to the Manager Operation & Control Centre. This role is crucial for ensuring that all bus operations within the BRT system adhere to regulatory standards, contractual obligations, safety protocols, and performance benchmarks. The position involves close coordination with bus operators, regulatory authorities, and internal departments to enforce compliance and support efficient transit operations. Candidates should be prepared to work late hours and on weekends.

• Qualification: At least 16 years degree in Civil/Mechanical/Transport Planning/Industrial Engineering or related fields from an HEC recognized university. A foreign qualification or Master’s Degree in these fields will be an added advantage.
• Experience: At least 05 years of post-qualification relevant experience, with 03 years in public transport, fleet management, and repair & maintenance in a similar role preferred. Relevant international work experience is an added advantage.
• Age Requirement: Up to 42 years on the closing date of applications.

2. Assistant Manager Bus Operations

The Assistant Manager Bus Operations is responsible for contract management, operations, and invoice processing for Chamkani and Mall of Hayatabad (MoH) contracts. This role requires approximately 10% field visits and 90% office work. Key responsibilities include ensuring smooth execution of contracts, verifying rates, kilometres, and KPI compliance, imposing Liquidated Damages (LDCs) for non-compliance, and recommending system improvements.

• Qualification: At least 16 years degree in Civil/Transport/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related fields from an HEC recognized university. A foreign qualification and/or Master’s Degree in these fields will be an added advantage.
• Experience: At least 05 years of post-qualification relevant experience, with 03 years in public transport operations and management in a similar role preferred. Relevant international work experience is an added advantage.
• Age Requirement: Up to 42 years on the closing date of applications.

3. Assistant Manager Corporate Taxation

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Assistant Manager Corporate Taxation is responsible for managing and ensuring compliance with all applicable federal and provincial tax laws and regulations for TransPeshawar. Duties include assisting in tax planning, preparing and filing tax returns/statements, coordinating with tax authorities, managing tax audits, reconciling tax records, and providing taxation-related advisory support to management.

• Qualification: At least a graduate degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration (Finance), or other related disciplines from a recognized university. Membership of a recognized Professional Accounting Body or higher academic qualifications, as well as foreign qualifications, will be considered an added advantage.
• Experience: At least 05 years of post-qualification relevant professional experience in taxation, budget, finance, accounts, audit, or related fields. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in public sector financial management and corporate taxation, including dealing with Federal and Provincial tax authorities.
• Age Requirement: Up to 42 years on the closing date of applications.

4. Budget & Accounts Officer

The Budget & Accounts Officer reports to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and is responsible for managing the budgeting and accounting functions of TransPeshawar. This role also involves providing necessary support to the CFO to ensure that financial affairs are conducted transparently and professionally, and that financial records are maintained according to financial rules and regulations.

• Qualification: At least a graduate degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration (Finance), or other related disciplines from an HEC recognized university. Higher academic qualifications will be considered an added advantage.
• Experience: At least 03 years of post-qualification relevant professional experience in budgeting, finance, accounts, audit, or related fields. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in public sector financial management and budgeting.

5. Audit Officer

Reporting to the Chief Internal Auditor, the Audit Officer is tasked with overseeing and conducting financial, operational, and compliance audits to ensure transparency, accountability, and efficient use of funds within the BRT system. Responsibilities include planning, supervising, and executing internal audit activities for the BRT project to ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, procurement policies, and operational procedures. The Audit Officer also helps protect assets, improve risk management, and enhance the integrity of the BRT’s financial and operational systems.

• Qualification: At least 16 years of education in Commerce, Business Administration (Finance), ACCA, CA Finalist, or related fields from an HEC recognized university.
• Experience: At least 03 years of post-qualification relevant public sector experience, with 01 year of experience in auditing public sector projects, transport authorities, donor-funded programs, or infrastructure projects considered an advantage.
• Age Requirement: Up to 42 years on the closing date of applications.

6. Finance Executive

The Finance Executive reports to the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for managing the routine affairs of the Finance Department. This includes handling financial transactions, taxation, reconciliations, and maintaining overall records for the section. The role ensures that financial affairs are conducted transparently and professionally, adhering to all applicable regulations and laws.

• Qualification: At least a graduate degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration (Finance), or membership of Professional Accounting Bodies, or other related disciplines from an HEC recognized university. Higher academic qualifications will be considered an added advantage.
• Experience: At least 02 years of professional experience in finance, accounts, taxation, budgeting, audit, or related fields. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in government, public sector organizations, or other reputed entities. Higher qualifications and relevant international work experience will be considered an added advantage.
• Age Requirement: Up to 37 years on the closing date of applications.

7. Security & Safety Executive

Reporting to the Manager Security & Safety, the Executive Security & Safety is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of BRT passengers, staff, assets, and infrastructure. This involves implementing safety protocols, monitoring operations, coordinating with law enforcement and emergency services, and effectively managing incidents.

• Qualification: At least 16 years of education in any discipline from an HEC recognized university, with mandatory NEBOSH Certification. A Master’s Degree in Health & Safety will be considered an added advantage, in which case NEBOSH Certification is not required.
• Experience: At least 02 years of post-qualification experience in Health and Fire Safety is required, with 01 year of experience in security considered an added advantage.
• Age Requirement: Up to 37 years on the closing date of applications.

8. Procurement Executive

The Procurement Executive will assist the Manager Procurement in all procurement and tendering activities conducted in TransPeshawar. The incumbent will be responsible for the proper upkeep of all procurement records according to established standards.

• Qualification: At least 16 Years of education in Business Administration, Economics, or a relevant field from an HEC recognized university.
• Experience: At least 02 years of post-qualification relevant experience. Experience in procurement/project administration/supply chain management will be given preference.
• Age Requirement: Up to 37 years on the closing date of applications.

9. Executive Assistant to CEO (Female)

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Executive Assistant provides support through a wide range of duties, including clerical tasks, research, and management roles. This position requires a high level of integrity due to exposure to confidential and sensitive information.

• Experience: At least 02 years of post-qualification relevant experience. Experience in a similar role will be preferred.
