About Assistant Engineer
School Education Department Balochistan is hiring for the post of Assistant Engineer (3 posts) in All Over Balochistan.
The Assistant Engineer will be responsible for overseeing civil engineering works within the PMHS Project, ensuring quality and adherence to project standards.
- Conduct field inspections and monitoring of civil engineering works.
- Supervise construction activities and ensure quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC).
- Scrutinize PC-1 documents, estimates, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
- Perform quality verification using Measurement Book (MB) and Form 27.
- Review contractor bills and assess physical program progress.
Requirements for Assistant Engineer
Applicants for Assistant Engineer must hold a B.E/BS in Civil Engineering with three to five years of professional experience in civil engineering works.
- Education: B.E/BS in Civil Engineering from an HEC-recognized institution.
- Experience: 3-5 years of professional experience in Civil Engineering works, preferably in public sector/development projects.
- Skills: Field inspection, monitoring, construction supervision, QA/QC, scrutiny of PC-1 documents, estimates, BOQs, quality verification (MB, Form 27), contractor bill review, and physical program assessment.
- Other: Previous experience in Balochistan will be an added advantage.
