Eligibility and Qualifications

1. Data Processing Assistant (BPS-12)

Applicants for the Data Processing Assistant position must meet the following criteria:

• Education:
  • (i) Sixteen (16) years of education (Computer Science / IT) with a Second Division or equivalent GPA from a Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized university.
  • OR
  • (ii) Minimum Second Division Graduation with a Computer Science Diploma from a Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE) or a government-recognized institute.
• Age Limit: 21 to 28 years.

2. Junior Clerk (BPS-11)

Candidates for the Junior Clerk role are required to have the following qualifications:

• Education:
  • (i) Minimum Second Division Graduation from a Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized university.
  • AND
  • (ii) A six (06) month certification course in MS Office from a Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE) / Z-Testing Board recognized institute.
• Age Limit: 21 to 28 years.

Important Instructions

• Applicants must have passed the General Screening Test of the Graduation Category conducted by Sukkur IBA Testing Services (STS) with a minimum passing score of 40%. A certificate from STS is mandatory for appointment to the mentioned posts.
• The age of the applicant will be calculated as per Rule 7 of the Sindh Civil Servants (Upper Age Limit Relaxation) Rules, 2024, from the last date of application submission.
• General age relaxation will be applicable as per the Government of Sindh’s policy.
• The share of reserved quotas for initial appointments will be adhered to as per the laws, rules, and policies of the Government of Sindh.
• Government employees already in service must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective departments before applying and present the original NOC at the time of the interview before the Departmental Selection Committee.
• Appointments will be made in accordance with the provisions of the Sindh Civil Servants Act, 1973, and its amendments from time to time, as well as policies announced by the SGA&CD, Government of Sindh. Refer to Notification No. SOV(SG&CD)8-27/2019 (BS-5TO15) dated 26-04-2023, 11-07-2023, and 21-11-2025 for details.
• Candidates will be called for an interview before the Departmental Selection Committee as per the schedule uploaded on the Sindh Job Portal.
• Applicants must bring original documents at the time of the interview.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for the test/interview.
