Eligibility and Qualifications

Candidates must meet the specific educational and experience requirements for each post, along with general eligibility criteria:

Data Processing Assistant (BPS-12)

Applicants for Data Processing Assistant must possess a strong academic background in Computer Science or IT.

• Education:
  • (i) Bachelor’s degree (16 years of education) in Computer Science or I.T. with at least a Second Division or equivalent CGPA from a University recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). OR
  • (ii) Graduation with at least a Second Division and a Diploma in Computer Science or I.T. from an Institute recognized by the Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE) or an Institute recognized by the Government.
• Age Limit: 21 to 28 years.

Junior Clerk (BPS-11)

Candidates for Junior Clerk should have a relevant graduation degree and certification in MS Office.

• Education:
  • (i) Graduation with at least a Second Division from any University recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
  • (ii) Having a Six Months’ Certification Course in M.S Office from an Institute recognized by the Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE) / Trade Testing Board.
• Age Limit: 21 to 28 years.

General Eligibility Conditions

• Applicants must have successfully passed the General Screening Test of Graduation Category with at least a 40% passing score, conducted by the Sukkur IBA Testing Services (STS), and possess the required certificate issued by STS.
• Age will be calculated as of the closing date for application submission, with relaxation provided as per Rule 7 of the Sindh Civil Servant (Relaxation of upper age Limit) Rule 2024.
• General age relaxation will be applicable according to the Government of Sindh’s policy.
• The share of quota reserved for initial appointments will be adhered to as per the law, rules, and policy of the Government of Sindh.
• Government employees must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their department before applying and present the original NOC at the time of the interview.
• Appointments will be made as per the policy notified by the SGA&CD, Government of Sindh, vide Notification No.SOV(SGA&CD)8-27/2019(BS-5 to 15), dated 26.04.2023, 11.07.2023, and 21.11.2025, under the provisions of the Sindh Civil Servant Act 1973 and its rules, as amended from time to time.
