Eligibility and Qualifications

Candidates must meet the specific eligibility criteria for each position:

• Computer Operator / Data Entry Operator:
  • Education: Intermediate Pass.
  • Certification: Minimum three-month computer (MS Office) training certificate from a government-recognized institution or TEVETA Computer Diploma.
  • Typing Speed: Minimum English typing speed of 30 Words Per Minute (WPM) and Urdu typing speed of 25 WPM.
  • Age Limit: 18 to 40 years.
• Office Staff (دفتری):
  • Education: Middle Pass.
  • Age Limit: 18 to 45 years.
• Sanitary Worker:
  • Education: Literate (able to read and write).
  • Age Limit: 18 to 45 years.
• Driver:
  • Education: Literate (able to read and write).
  • Age Limit: 18 to 45 years.

Important Instructions and Conditions

• Work Charge / Contingent Paid Staff will be registered according to the Market Committees Regulations 2026.
• Appointments will be strictly on a work charge basis (89 days) under the Schedule of Wages 2025, approved by the Finance Department, Government of Punjab, and may be extended based on good performance.
• Recruitment will be based on merit as per government recruitment policy and Work Charge / Contingent Paid Staff policy. These appointments are temporary and will not grant any right to permanent employment or regularization.
• Work Charge / Contingent Paid Staff will be hired as needed during the financial year.
• Selected Work Charge / Contingent Paid Staff may be posted anywhere in the Market Committee office or vegetable/fruit markets as per requirement.
• Candidates with prior experience working in a Market Committee will be given preference.
• Work Charge / Contingent Paid Staff will receive monthly salaries as per government-prescribed rates.
• Work Charge / Contingent Paid Staff will not be granted leave without prior notice.
• The competent authority reserves the right to terminate any Work Charge / Contingent Paid Staff at any time.
• Sanitary Workers will be responsible for cleaning duties.
