Eligibility and Qualifications

Assistant Manager (Finance)

Candidates for Assistant Manager (Finance) must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Minimum qualification of CA (Inter)/CMA (Inter)/ACCA (Member) or M.Com/MBA (Finance)/MBA, B.Com (Hons) 04 Years course/BBA Finance (Hons) 04 years course, or 04 Years/08 Semester Honors Degrees. Computer literacy is mandatory.
• Experience: 02 years post-qualification experience in BPS-16 or equivalent in Audit and Accounts of Govt. Department/Semi Govt. Organization/Corporation/autonomous bodies or large commercial organizations of repute. Minimum 03 years of total experience, including 01 year of experience in the Power Sector (if applicable).
• Skills: Understanding of bilateral contract and bidding processes, and knowledge of the competitive electricity market is an added advantage.

Assistant Manager (Transmission & Planning)

Applicants for Assistant Manager (Transmission & Planning) should possess:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from reputable HEC recognized Universities.
• Experience: Minimum 03 years of total experience, including 01 year of experience in transmission planning (if applicable).
• Skills: Understanding of transmission planning at the 132-kV level, capital budgeting, and preparation of project documents related to transmission planning.

Assistant Manager (Demand Forecasting)

For the Assistant Manager (Demand Forecasting) role, candidates are required to have:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from reputable HEC recognized Universities.
• Experience: Minimum 03 years of total experience, including 01 year of experience in demand forecasting (if applicable).
• Skills: Understanding of medium-term and other demand forecasting, and consolidating demand forecasts.

Terms & Conditions

• Candidates will be provisionally allowed to appear in the ETEA screening test based on provided credentials. Detailed scrutiny will be conducted by the appointing authority, and any ineligible candidate will be disqualified at any stage.
• The service is purely on a contract basis with a lump sum pay package and no regularization in the future.
• Candidates qualifying the ETEA test will be screened for relevance based on eligibility criteria.
• Interview call letters will only be issued to shortlisted candidates.
• Applicants must be eligible in all respects by the last date of application receipt.
• Applications received after the due date or incomplete applications will not be entertained. Applications with fake documents/information will be rejected.
• General age relaxation is included in the mentioned age limit. However, candidates belonging to scheduled castes and Buddhists are allowed 3 years relaxation, and government servants with two years of continuous service are allowed 10 years relaxation in the upper age limit.
• Selected candidates may be required to perform duties anywhere under PESCO’s jurisdiction.
• Original documents must be presented at the time of the interview.
• Government/Semi-Government employees should apply through the proper channel. Separate applications and fees are required for each post if applying for more than one.
• PESCO reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process or increase/decrease the number of vacancies with a cogent reason.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for test/interview.
• Dismissed/screened-out employees or those with a criminal record are not eligible.
• Concealment or misrepresentation of facts will lead to disqualification.
• Any litigation regarding recruitment tests conducted by ETEA will be handled by ETEA without PESCO’s liability.
• Equivalent certificates from HEC are required for foreign degrees.
• Errors/Omissions in the number of posts are subject to rectification.
