Eligibility and Qualifications
Candidates must meet the specific educational and skill requirements for each post:
- Computer Operator: Applicants must have an Intermediate qualification and a 3-month MS Office certificate from a government-recognized institution. A minimum English typing speed of 30 words per minute (WPM) and an Urdu typing speed of 35 WPM are mandatory.
- Auctioneer: A Matric Pass certificate is required for this position.
- Driver: Candidates for the Driver position should be literate, meaning they can read and write.
- Sweeper/Cleaner: Similar to the Driver position, applicants for Sweeper/Cleaner must be literate.
Terms and Conditions
Applicants should be aware of the following terms and conditions:
- All Daily Wages Contingent Paid Staff will be registered according to PAMRA Regulations 2021, considering their expertise.
- Appointments will be made on a daily wage basis for a minimum of 60 days to a maximum of 75 days under the Schedule of Wages Rate 2025, approved by the Finance Department, Government of Punjab.
- Recruitment will be strictly on merit, following the government’s recruitment policy and the Market Committee’s policy for Daily Wages/Contingent Paid Staff. These appointments are temporary and do not grant any right to permanent or regular employment.
- Contingent Paid Staff may be called for duty periodically during the financial year.
- Selected Daily Wages staff will be deployed in the office of Market Committee Jampur and other notified government markets within the area.
- Monthly salaries for Daily Wages/Contingent Paid Staff will be paid as per government-prescribed rates.
- The competent authority reserves the right to terminate the services of Daily Wages/Contingent Paid Staff at any time.
- Preference will be given to candidates already working in the relevant department.
