Eligibility and Qualifications

Detailed eligibility criteria for each position are outlined below:

1. Procurement and Contract Management Specialist (PMU)

• No. of Position: 01
• Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, procurement, business administration law, or finance, or an equivalent qualification. A Master’s degree in these fields is preferred.
• Experience: Preferably 12 years of experience in procurement and contract administration, with specific expertise in FIDIC contract agreements, GoP, and ADB procurement guidelines for works, goods, and services. Excellent written and spoken English communication skills are essential. Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience with Donors (ADB and WB) or their funded projects, and overseas or international organization/Government Institutions experience. Working experience in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region is considered favorable.
• Preferable Age Limit: 35 to 70 years.

2. Social Safeguarded Specialist (PMU, and CIUs – Abbottabad, Swat, Mardan, and Peshawar)

• No. of Position: 05
• Qualification: Preferably a Master’s degree in social sciences or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience: 12 years’ experience in resettlement planning and implementation, preferably in projects financed by multilateral finance institutions. Candidates should be well-conversant with the preparation and implementation of Land Acquisition and Resettlement Plans (LARPs). Excellent written and spoken English communication skills are required. Preference will be given to those with relevant experience with Donors (ADB and WB) or their funded projects, and overseas or international organization/Government Institutions experience. Working experience in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region is preferred.

3. Environmental Safeguarded Specialist (PMU)

• No. of Position: 01
• Qualification: Preferably a Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience: 12 years’ experience in the preparation, implementation, and monitoring of environmental assessments and monitoring plans. Candidates must be well-conversant with ADB’s Safeguards Policy Statement (SPS) 2009 and have experience with the application of ADB environmental guidelines. Excellent written and spoken English communication skills are essential. Preference will be given to those with relevant experience with Donors (ADB and WB) or their funded projects, and overseas or international organization/Government Institutions experience.
• Preferable Age Limit: 35 to 70 years.
