Eligibility Criteria for Special Prosecutor
Applicants for the Special Prosecutor position must fulfill the following criteria:
- The candidate must be a practicing Advocate with a minimum of 5 years of experience as an Advocate of the High Court.
- Experience in contesting criminal cases in Trial Courts and High Court, particularly narcotics cases, is essential.
- Membership of the Punjab Bar Council or Sialkot Bar Association is mandatory, and the candidate must not be involved in any criminal case.
- Applicants must be citizens of Pakistan, residents of, or settled in Sialkot, with no political affiliation and no involvement in any criminal case.
- Candidates must possess good character, not be involved in immoral activities, not have been dismissed from any public service, and not be declared bankrupt.
- During the contract period with the Anti Narcotic Force, the candidate will not be permitted to appear in any court as a defense counsel in narcotics-related cases for any Law Enforcement Agency.
Salary and Benefits
An attractive monthly retainer-ship fee will be offered to the successful candidate. This fee may be increased annually by up to 10%, depending on performance or other factors.
Interview Process
Interviews for the Special Prosecutor position will be conducted at the Regional Directorate ANF Punjab, Lahore. Please note that no TA/DA (Travel Allowance/Daily Allowance) will be admissible for the interview.
