Eligibility and Qualifications

Candidates must meet the specific minimum qualification and experience criteria for each post as outlined in the advertisement. General eligibility conditions include:

• Applicants must be Pakistani nationals.
• Qualifications must be from an institute or university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
• For Lecturer positions, applicants with a third division in their academic career are generally not eligible. However, those with a Ph.D. in the relevant field and not more than one third division in their entire academic career may be eligible.
• For Assistant Professor positions, a Ph.D. in the relevant field is required.

General Instructions

• A processing fee of Rs. 3,000/- (non-refundable) must be paid in any branch of the Bank of Punjab. Employees of The University of Chakwal are exempted from this fee.
• Candidates applying for more than one post must submit separate and complete application forms along with separate fee challans for each post.
• Government/Semi-Government employees must apply through the proper channel by the due date. They must clarify through their department heads that there are no pending inquiries or outstanding dues against them to obtain a Departmental Permission Certificate/No Objection Certificate (NOC).
• Experience in Government services will only be accepted if the certificate is issued by the concerned appointing authority. Experience from private entities will be accepted only if the entity is registered with a relevant Regulatory Body/Authority. Appointment letters will not be accepted as proof of experience.
• Part-time, honorary, apprentice, interne, visiting faculty, and daily wages appointments will not be considered/counted as experience.
• Relaxation in the upper age limit will be granted as per the policy of the Government of Punjab.
• Quota for persons with special abilities, minorities, and women will be observed as per the policy of the Government of Punjab.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview.
• The University reserves the right to withdraw or cancel the advertisement, increase or decrease the number of advertised posts, or fill/not fill any position without assigning any reason.
• The University may conduct a screening test for shortlisting candidates, if required.
• Incomplete applications or applications received after the due date will not be entertained.
• Recruitment will be made in accordance with The University of Chakwal Act 2019, University of Chakwal (Appointment, Terms and Conditions of Service) Statutes, 2021, and University of Chakwal Recruitment Policy 2021.
• Pension and retirement benefits will be admissible in accordance with the policy of the Government of Punjab, amended from time to time.
