Eligibility and Qualifications

Candidates applying for the Lecturer position must meet the following criteria:

• Education: A Master’s Degree (First Class) in the relevant field is required.
• Recognition: The degree must be obtained from a University/Institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
• Academic Record: Applicants should not have any 3rd division in their entire academic career.
• Age: The age limit for applicants is between 21 and 55 years.

Initial Application and ETEA Test

1. Candidates will be provisionally allowed to appear in the ETEA screening test based on the credentials provided.
2. Create a profile on the ETEA website (www.etea.edu.pk).
3. After creating the profile, print the E-Sahulat token.
4. Verify the E-Sahulat token at any NADRA E-Sahulat franchise (Kiosk). Applications without verification will not be considered.
5. Upon successful submission of the online application, a prescribed online deposit slip containing the candidate’s token number, project code, and personal information will be generated.
6. Deposit the prescribed non-refundable test fee through the Easypaisa app, an Easypaisa agent, or any branch of United Bank Limited (UBL) using the generated deposit slip.
7. Retain the original deposit slip (candidate copy) with the bank’s stamp for future reference.
8. After online application submission, candidates are not required to send any documents or testimonials to the ETEA office.
9. The online application form will be available from 10th August 2026.
10. The last date for submission of applications is 25th August 2026.
11. Candidates will be informed via SMS by ETEA to download and print their Roll No. Slips from www.etea.edu.pk. Ensure your mobile number is active and not ported/converted.
12. No separate Call Letter will be issued by post or courier for the screening test.
13. Test Date, Time, and Venue will be mentioned on the Roll No. Slip.

Procedure for Qualified Candidates After ETEA Test

Candidates who score 50% or more marks in the ETEA test will proceed to the next stage:

1. Submit a filled and signed application form, available on the university website (www.uotnowshera.edu.pk/careers), along with attested copies of the following documents:
• Educational testimonials (Degree/certificates, Transcript/DMCs)
• Experience Certificates
• Domicile
• CNIC
• One recent photograph
2. A processing fee of Rs.1,000/- must be deposited in the University Bank Account (Bank of Khyber, Account No. PK68KHYB0104003001160687, Account Title: Vice Chancellor University of Technology Nowshera).
3. All required information and documents must be submitted within 15 days after the conduction of the ETEA test. No additional claims, records, or documents will be entertained after the deadline.

Important Instructions and General Conditions

• Eligibility will be reckoned in all respects by the last date of receipt of applications for the ETEA test (August 25, 2026).
• Only shortlisted candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will be called for a demo/interview.
• Incomplete applications or applications submitted with fake documents/information will be rejected at any stage of the recruitment process.
• Candidates working in Government or Semi-Government bodies must apply through the proper channel and provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current employer.
• The University reserves the right to withhold the recruitment process, or increase/decrease the number of positions, or cancel or re-advertise these positions at any stage without assigning any reason.
• Degrees from foreign universities must have HEC/IBCC equivalence certificates. Non-English documents must include an officially verified English translation.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for the interview.
