Eligibility and Qualifications

Candidates applying for the Charge Nurse position must meet the following criteria:

Qualifications:

• Registered Grade A Nurse with a valid Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC) license.
• One of the following educational backgrounds:
• General Nursing Diploma (3 years) with Midwifery/Specialty Diploma (1 year) from a PNC-approved institution; OR
• BSN (Generic) with a minimum GPA of 2.5 from a PNC-accredited institution.

Experience:

• For Diploma holders: Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a recognized teaching hospital.
• For BSN (Generic) holders: Completion of a 1-year clinical internship in a recognized teaching hospital.

Technical Skills:

• Computer literate.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Core Competencies including General Nursing Care, Patient Assessment & Monitoring, Medication Administration, Nursing Documentation, Critical Care (ICU/CCU), Communication & Teamwork.

Job Expectations

The selected Charge Nurse will be responsible for delivering total holistic care to patients at an optimum level, adhering to set standards of work. They will also perform any additional duties as assigned by the administration.
