Assistant Director (Engg)

This role is for individuals with a background in Civil Engineering to support the Housing Urban Development & Public Health Engineering Department.

• Number of Posts: 3 (Open Merit)
• Basic Scale: BS-17
• Contract Duration: 03 Years
• Age Limit:
  • Male: 21 to 33 years (including 5 years general age relaxation)
  • Female: 21 to 36 years (including 8 years general age relaxation)
  • Age and sex of transgender will be based on the contents of their CNIC.
• Domicile: Any District of the Province of Punjab
• Place of Posting: Anywhere in Punjab
• Syllabus for Written Examination/Test (If Held): One paper of MCQ type written test of 100 Marks and 90 minutes duration. Syllabus is 100% qualification-related questions.

Assistant Director (TP)

This position is for professionals in Town Planning to work within the Punjab Housing and Town Planning Agency.

• Number of Posts: 3 (Open Merit)
• Basic Scale: BS-17
• Contract Duration: 03 Years
• Age Limit:
  • Male: 21 to 40 years (including 5 years general age relaxation)
  • Female: 21 to 43 years (including 8 years general age relaxation)
  • Age and sex of transgender will be based on the contents of their CNIC.
• Domicile: Any District of the Province of Punjab
• Place of Posting: Anywhere in Punjab
• Syllabus for Written Examination/Test (If Held): One paper of MCQ type written test of 100 Marks and 90 minutes duration. Syllabus is 100% qualification-related questions.

Eligibility and Qualifications

Candidates must meet the specific educational and registration requirements for each post:

For Assistant Director (Engg)

• Education: B.Sc. (Engg) in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government.
• Registration: Valid permanent Registration with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) issued on or before the closing date is mandatory.

For Assistant Director (TP)

• Education: B.Sc. City & Regional Planning degree from a recognized University duly registered with Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners (PCATP).
• Registration: Valid permanent Registration with Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners (PCATP) issued on or before the closing date is mandatory.

Important Instructions

• The schedules of tests and syllabus, if any, will be issued only on the official website of PPSC. Candidates must frequently visit the PPSC website for updates.
• Employees of Federal Government or Semi Government and Autonomous Bodies of Federal Government and those of Local Bodies are not entitled to age concession for the period of their service in such organization.
• Candidates claiming equivalent qualifications must submit an equivalence certificate from HEC or Q.E.D.C.
• Applicants claiming private firm/entity experience must provide proof of registration (SECP, Registrar of Firms, or other Regulatory Authority) at the time of interview.
• In-service candidates must obtain/apply for NOC/DPC from their department and provide it at the time of interview.
• Candidates must ensure they have obtained/applied for the relevant Registration Certificate (PEC/PNC/PMDC/PMC/PVMC) on or before the closing date.
• Marks obtained / total marks or percentage certificates of all degrees, issued by the Competent Authority, must be provided at the time of interview. CGPA is not acceptable.
