The Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cardiology Sargodha is looking to fill the following positions:

Eligibility and Qualifications

Candidates must meet the specific educational and experience requirements for each post:

1. Consultant Nuclear Cardiology

• Education: MBBS with FCPS or MD/MRCP with CCT or Diplomate American Board or other equivalent qualification in the relevant subject recognized by PM&DC.
• Experience: At least 3 years’ experience after post-graduation.
• Research: Three (02) research papers in their relevant field in PMDC/HEC/International recognized journals. Preference for papers published in impact factor journals.

2. Junior Consultant Nuclear Cardiology

• Education: MBBS with FCPS or MD/MRCP with CCT or Diplomate American Board or other equivalent qualification in the relevant subject recognized by PM&DC.

3. Deputy Hospital Director

• Option (i): MBBS with relevant postgraduate diploma/certificate in hospital administration with Three years’ relevant experience in an administrative post.
• Option (ii): MBA/MPA/MPH/ Hospital Administration/ Health Management/ TQM or relevant degree from HEC recognized University/ Institute with Five years’ relevant experience in an administrative post in the healthcare industry.

4. Health Physicist

• Education: M.Sc. Applied Physics or equivalent degree / B.S Medical Physics (4 Year Program). The degree should be from a program accredited by a recognized body in Pakistan or abroad (e.g., CAMPEP).
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience including at least 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine.

5. Nuclear Medicine Technologist

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Imaging Technology or relevant Degree from HEC recognized University or Institute.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.

Application Guidelines

1. Application Submission

1. Obtain the application form from the HR Department of NSIC or download it from the official website: https://nsic.punjab.gov.pk.
2. Fill out the application form and attach attested copies of all relevant documents (including equivalence certificate, if applicable).
3. Submit the complete application to the HR Department, Nawaz Institute of Cardiology, Sargodha by 29-08-2026 (Saturday) till 02:00 PM.
4. Applications sent via post/TCS must also reach before the deadline.
5. Any incomplete documentation may lead to rejection.

2. Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates from all over Pakistan may apply.
• Government servants must apply through proper channel.
• Candidates claiming equivalent qualifications must provide an equivalence certificate issued by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) or PMDC (erstwhile PMC).
• Failure to provide the equivalence certificate at the time of interview (or when required) will result in cancellation of candidature.

3. Selection Process

• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
• The Competent Authority may conduct a screening / written test for any post.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for test/interview.

4. Terms & Conditions of Appointment

• The advertised positions are on a lump-sum contract basis for a period of three (03) years.
• Appointment is subject to verification of educational degrees and experience certificates (cost to be borne by the candidate).
• Institutional practice will be allowed as per NSIC regulations; however, private practice outside the institute is not permitted.
• The Competent Authority reserves the right to cancel, increase, or decrease the number of posts at any stage without assigning any reason.

5. Grievance Redressal

• Candidates having any grievance at any stage may submit a written application to the Dean within 03 days after display of the list on the website/notice board of NSIC.
