NACTA is seeking to fill the following position:
- Assistant Director (BPS-17): 04 Vacancies
Eligibility and Qualifications
Candidates applying for the Assistant Director (BPS-17) position must meet the following criteria:
Education:
- 16 years of education in Peace and Conflict Studies, IR, Media & Communication Studies, Strategic Studies, Cyber Security, AI, Data Science, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Security, or Digital Forensics from any HEC-approved institution.
Experience:
- 0-2 years Post Qualification experience in the relevant field.
- Having experience in OSINT, SOCMINT, GEOINT, Threat Intelligence, Digital Investigations, Online Research, and Analytical Reporting. Relevant international certificates will be considered an added advantage.
- Developing and managing AI/Software applications.
- Media management, Basic Administration, and Education, specialized knowledge in peace and conflict resolution, Narrative Building, and Counter Terrorism and Extremism.
Quota Distribution
The distribution of quota for these positions is as follows:
General Information and Instructions
- The period of contract will initially be for six (06) months and is likely to be permanent based on performance evaluation.
- The Authority reserves the right to not fill any vacancy or to reduce/increase the number of vacancies if circumstances warrant it at the time of final selection.
- In addition to the 5 years general age relaxation already allowed, further age relaxation will be admissible as per (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 1993.
- Minimum and Maximum age will be calculated on the closing date for receipt of applications.
- Information provided in the online Application Form will be verified. NACTA reserves the right to cancel candidature and initiate legal action against applicants providing false or forged information.
- Only short-listed candidates will be called for test/interview. All candidates will be allowed provisionally to appear in the test/interview, subject to detailed scrutiny of their eligibility as per relevant criteria.
- No TA/DA will be admissible for the Test/Interview.
- The last date for submission of Application Forms is 15 days from the date of publication of this advertisement. Applications received after the closing date will not be entertained.
