Wing Head - SME Risk (VP / SVP)

This role involves exercising delegated credit approval authority for SME credit proposals, analyzing credit risk and obligor creditworthiness, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and SBP Prudential Regulations. Other duties include reviewing SME Product programs, assisting Head SME Risk with credit review, liaising with stakeholders, ensuring audit requirements are addressed, and monitoring credit portfolios for early warnings. The incumbent will also perform any other assignment assigned by the supervisor.

Applicants for Wing Head - SME Risk must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Education: Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university/college recognized by HEC. Master's degree and/or relevant certification(s) preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of banking experience, with at least 07 years in Commercial and/or SME, either on the business and/or risk management side in a commercial bank.
• Skills: Leadership & people management, credit risk assessment skills for SME, knowledge of SBP's Prudential Regulations, understanding of different types of collaterals, knowledge of SME product program, problem solving & decision making, ability to use knowledge of specific sectors and the broader economy to make a judgment about specific credits.
