Branch Operations Manager (OG-II / OG-I)

The Branch Operations Manager oversees all branch operations, ensuring efficient internal controls, compliance with regulations, and high standards of customer service. Key responsibilities include:

• Being responsible for all branch operations, implementing efficient internal control measures and compliance mechanisms.
• Facilitating the Branch Manager in achieving business KPIs and assisting in annual budget development and monitoring.
• Ensuring compliance with Banking Laws, Regulations, Banking Instructions, and SOPs, including Shariah Compliance.
• Overseeing branch opening/closing, customer query resolution, and maintaining prescribed customer service standards.
• Supervising administrative and operational staff and facilitating smooth workflow.
• Supervising data processing activities, voucher preparation, account opening, inter-branch transactions, and reconciliation.
• Ensuring strict adherence to Regulatory, KYC/AML/Compliance regulations.
• Supervising daily compilation of statements of affairs and other periodic reports, and checking DTRs.
• Ensuring no un-adjusted GLs, pending AML alerts, high-risk KYC cases, or outstanding reconciliation.
• Addressing audit observations (internal/external) and implementing corrective actions.
• Maintaining high customer service standards and managing complaints/remittance requests.
• Ensuring utility bill collection and fund transfers.
• Facilitating locker operations, ensuring safe custody of documents, and managing credit operations.
• Ensuring Branch Security Arrangements and managing cash requirements/balances.
• Ensuring timely opening/closing of computerized banking systems and monthly MIS reporting.
• Maintaining all files, registers, and documentation.

Applicants for Branch Operations Manager must hold a minimum Graduation degree with at least 4 years of banking experience, including 2 years in core branch operations.

• Education: Minimum Graduation or equivalent from an HEC-recognized university/college. Master's degree, Islamic Banking certification/degree, or diploma will be preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 4 years of banking experience, with at least 2 years in core branch operations.
• Skills: Sound knowledge of SBP Prudential Regulations (PRs) and Islamic Banking products, strong understanding of branch banking operations, good leadership, branch management, business acumen, process efficiency, analytical and critical-thinking skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and proficiency in MS Office suite.
