Eligibility Criteria and Qualifications
Candidates applying for the Deputy Assistant Director (Technical) position must meet the following requirements:
Educational Background
- A Bachelor’s degree (4 Years) in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or an equivalent related field from an HEC-recognized university. All degrees must be attested by HEC.
- A Master’s degree will be preferred.
Professional Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of post-qualification experience in the Operations of IT Infrastructure, communication, and networks.
- Certifications in CCNA, Cyber Security, and Active Directory are preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Administer and maintain server/client machines for optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot web-based applications, software, hardware, and peripheral devices to ensure minimal downtime.
- Provide technical support to end-users, including login, authentication, and access-related issues.
- Perform patch management and system updates.
- Monitor, document, maintain incident logs, and coordinate with back-end support teams for issue resolution.
- Deliver 24/7 technical support and ensure timely resolution of IT-related incidents.
- Follow incident reporting, escalation, and resolution procedures as per defined SLAs.
- Ensure compliance with endpoint security standards, information security policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage and ensure timely updates of antivirus definitions across all client and server systems.
- Conduct LAN connectivity troubleshooting, including cabling issues and switch port configuration.
- Install, configure, and maintain applications, operating systems, and network components across multiple platforms.
- Performance tuning, system monitoring, and log analysis to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Configure and support routing, switching, firewalls, VLANs, and VPN technologies and protocols.
- Administer and support core network and directory services, including DHCP, DNS, and Active Directory.
- Perform pre-deployment readiness checks covering network security, endpoint protection, and business applications.
- Support compliance audits by preparing documentation and providing required audit evidence.
- Participate in technical evaluation of tenders, providing inputs on infrastructure security and technology suitability.
Important Instructions
- The selected candidate will be offered employment on a contractual basis, with an initial probationary period of 6 months, which may be extended based on performance and organizational needs.
- The management reserves the right to stop or cancel the recruitment process at any stage without providing any reason.

- Providing false information will lead to disqualification of the candidate.
- Government or semi-government employees must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of application submission.

- Selected candidates will be required to provide medical fitness and character certificates.
- No TA/DA will be admissible for the test or interview.
- HEC-attested degrees and documents from relevant regulatory bodies must be presented at the time of the interview.
