Eligibility and Qualifications
Detailed eligibility criteria for each position are as follows:
1. Registrar (BS-20)
- Age Limit: 35 to 50 years
- Qualification & Experience:
- Option 1: (a) Ph.D. or equivalent qualification from an institute or university recognized by Higher Education Commission (HEC); AND (b) eight years’ post-qualification teaching or administrative or professional experience from a public or private institute or university recognized by HEC or public sector organization. OR
- Option 2: (a) MS or M.Phil. or equivalent qualification from an institute or university recognized by HEC; AND (b) ten years’ post-qualification teaching or administrative or professional experience from a public or private institute or university recognized by HEC or public sector organization. OR
- Option 3: (a) Master’s degree or BS (four years) (second division) or equivalent qualification from an institute or university recognized by HEC; AND (d) twelve years’ post-qualification teaching or administrative or professional experience from a public or private institute or university recognized by HEC or public sector organization.
2. Controller of Examinations (BS-20)
- Age Limit: 30 to 50 years
- Qualification & Experience:
- Option 1: (a) Ph.D. or equivalent qualification from an institute or university recognized by HEC; AND (b) eight years’ post-qualification teaching or administrative or professional experience from a public or private institute or university recognized by HEC or public sector organization. OR
- Option 2: (a) MS or M.Phil. or equivalent qualification from an institute or university recognized by HEC; AND (b) ten years’ post-qualification teaching or administrative or professional experience from a public or private institute or university recognized by HEC or public sector organization. OR
- Option 3: (a) Master’s degree or BS (four years) (second division) or equivalent qualification from an institute or university recognized by HEC; AND (e) twelve years’ post-qualification teaching or administrative or professional experience from a public or private institute or university recognized by HEC or public sector organization.
3. Treasurer (BS-20)
- Age Limit: 40 to 50 years
- Qualification & Experience:
- Option 1: (a) Ph.D. in Finance or Commerce or Accounting or Auditing or Economics from an institute or university recognized by HEC; AND (b) eight years’ post-qualification experience in the relevant field. OR
- Option 2: (a) MS or M.Phil. in Finance or Commerce or Accounting or Auditing or Economics or equivalent qualification from an institute or university recognized by HEC; AND (b) ten years’ post-qualification experience in the relevant field. OR
- Option 3: (a) MBA in Finance or M.Com or ACCA or ACMA or M.Sc. or BS (four years) (second division) in Economics or equivalent qualification from an institute or university recognized by HEC; AND (b) twelve years’ post-qualification experience in the relevant field.

- The University is not responsible if a call letter is not received by a candidate due to any lapse of Courier Agency/Post Office/Telephone Message/WhatsApp or due to wrong email or given postal address.
- General age relaxation shall be permissible as per Government policy.

How to Apply for MNS UET Announces Multiple Posts of Registrar, Controller, Treasurer & More 2026
- 1 Obtain the prescribed application form from the University website: www.mnsuet.edu.pk .
- 2 Attach 06 passport-size photographs, attested copies of all certificates, degrees, testimonials, detailed marks certificates, experience certificates, transcripts, equivalence certificates (from concerned authority), valid registration certificate (from PEC/ PMDC if applicable), CNIC, domicile, and an updated CV.
- 3 Submit an original Bank Draft of Rs. 5000/- (non-refundable/non-transferable) in favor of "Treasurer, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Engineering and Technology, Multan". Alternatively, the processing fee can be deposited online in HBL Mumtazabad Branch, Multan, account no. 12668900875503 titled "MNS UET, Multan (Payment/Freedom Current)". Proof of online deposit must be attached with the application form.
- 4 Candidates already in service of Government /Semi-Government Departments or Autonomous Bodies must apply through the proper channel and obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) on the prescribed format by the due date. Applications received otherwise will not be entertained.
- 5 All in-service candidates must submit a No Pending Inquiry Certificate from their respective organizations/institutions along with their applications.
- 6 If applying for more than one post, submit separate application forms along with prescribed fees and necessary documents for each post.
- 7 Clearly mention the name of the post applied for on the top right corner of the envelope.
- 8 Applications must be sent through registered posts/courier only. By-hand applications will not be accepted.
