Eligibility and Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following criteria to be considered for these government jobs:

• Computer Operator / Data Entry Operator: Applicants must have an Intermediate qualification along with a 3-month computer (MS Office) training certificate from TEVTA or any other government-approved institution. A minimum English typing speed of 30 words per minute (WPM) and Urdu typing speed of 25 WPM are essential.
• Auctioneer: Candidates are required to have an Intermediate Pass qualification.
• Sanitary Worker: Applicants must be literate, meaning they should be able to read and write.
• Age Limit: The age limits vary by post, ranging from 18 to 40 years for Computer Operator/Data Entry Operator, 18 to 45 years for Auctioneer, and 18 to 50 years for Sanitary Worker.
• Domicile: Only candidates holding a domicile of Lahore are eligible to apply.

Terms and Conditions

Applicants should be aware of the following terms and conditions:

• Work Charge / Contingent Paid Staff will be registered according to the Market Committees Regulations 2026, considering their skills.
• Appointments will be strictly on a work charge basis for 89 days under the Schedule of Wages Rate 2025, approved by the Finance Department, Government of Punjab. The appointment may be extended based on good performance.
• Recruitment will be done on merit as per the government’s recruitment policy for Work Charge / Contingent Paid Staff. These appointments are temporary, and there will be no right to permanent appointment or regularization.
• Work Charge / Contingent Paid Staff may be called as needed during the financial year.
• Selected Work Charge / Contingent Paid Staff may be posted anywhere in the Market Committee office or the vegetable/fruit market as per requirement.
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in a Market Committee.
• Work Charge / Contingent Paid Staff will receive a monthly salary according to the government’s prescribed rates.
• No leave will be granted to Work Charge / Contingent Paid Staff without prior notice.
• The competent authority reserves the right to terminate the services of Work Charge / Contingent Paid Staff at any time without prior notice.
