Eligibility and Qualifications

Applicants for the Assistant Professor positions at Khyber Medical College Peshawar (MTI) must meet the following general eligibility criteria:

• Regulatory Compliance: Regulations set by the policy board for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa MTI Act, 2015 (https://policyboardkp.pk) and PM&DC 2025 (as amended from time to time) shall apply.
• References: Candidates must submit their name, email address, contact number, and the designation of at least three referees.
• Equivalency Certificate: It is the candidate’s responsibility to provide a valid equivalency certificate from HEC Pakistan, PMDC, or other relevant regulatory bodies to justify their academic eligibility for the applied post.
• Degree Status: Degrees in progress will not be considered for academic certification.
• Experience: Experience marks will be awarded only for documented relevant experience. Only post-qualification relevant experience will be considered.
• Clinical Faculty Requirement: Selected clinical faculty members must adhere to mandatory IBPs as per the MTI-Act 2015 (amended from time to time).

Important Instructions

• Any application or documents received after the closing time and date will be rejected.
• No documents will be accepted, changed, or replaced once received with the application. Incomplete applications will also be rejected.
• Candidates applying for more than one post must apply separately for each position, along with the required processing fee.
• Only shortlisted candidates, based on prescribed criteria, will be called for an interview/test.
• The services of selected candidates will be governed under the KPK Medical & Teaching Institution Reform Act, 2015, and its framed regulations.
• Employees of Government, Semi-Government, Autonomous, or Semi-Autonomous bodies must apply through the proper channel and submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their parent department.
• All Civil/Government servants or employees of any organization, if selected, will be required to resign from their previous service. No lien or similar relief will be acceptable.
• Recruitment will be strictly on merit. Any attempt to influence the process will lead to disqualification.
• Candidates may be disqualified if convicted by a court of law, dismissed from service, provide false/forged information, suppress information, attempt to influence the selection process, or misbehave during tests/interviews.
• Original documents must be produced at the time of the interview.
• The competent authority of MTI KMC reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies or cancel the advertisement without providing any reason.
• Recommendations do not constitute a right to appointment unless approved by the competent authority.
• Appointed candidates will receive a salary package as approved for initial appointment, and no seniority will be admissible.
