Salary and Employment Terms

The appointment for the Project Director position will be purely on a Contract basis for an initial duration of two (02) years. The contract period is extendable on a yearly basis depending on satisfactory work performance and until the completion of the project. Compensation is governed under Project Director Policy Scale (PPS-9) as notified by the Planning & Development Department, Government of Balochistan.

Qualification and Experience Details

Applicants must satisfy the eligibility criteria set by the P&D Department:

• Educational Qualification: At least 16 years of education from an HEC-recognized university in Engineering (BS/BE registered with PEC), Project Management, MBA, MPA, or Master’s / 4-year BS in Economics or other related fields.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in urban and rural planning, infrastructure development, and project management. Candidates interested in senior project management jobs must have strong familiarity with Government of Pakistan project planning and implementation procedures. Prior experience as a Project Director in Balochistan’s public sector is advantageous.
• Age Limit: Applicants must be between 40 and 62 years of age as of the date of appointment.
