About Environment & Social Specialist
Water and Sanitation Agency is hiring for the post of Environment & Social Specialist (1 post) in Lahore.
The Environment & Social Specialist will ensure that the Wastewater Treatment Plant project adheres to environmental and social safeguard policies of international funding agencies.
- Conduct environmental and social impact assessments.
- Develop and implement environmental and social management plans.
- Monitor project activities for compliance with safeguard policies.
- Prepare reports on environmental and social performance.
Requirements for Environment & Social Specialist
Applicants for Environment & Social Specialist must hold a B.Sc. in Environmental Engineering / Environmental Sciences with a minimum of 12 years of relevant professional experience.
- Education: B.Sc. in Environmental Engineering / Environmental Sciences from PEC recognized university / institute.
- Experience: Minimum 12 years professional experience in the field of Sanitation / Public Health / Environment in Public or Private Sector including experience of working on environmental & social safeguards of projects financed by international funding agencies / banks.
- Skills: Good communication and managerial skills will be preferred.
