Eligibility and Qualifications

1. Director QEC (BPS-20)

• Education: PhD/MS/MPhil (preferably in Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or related fields) from an HEC recognized university.
• Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience in academia, administration, or quality assurance in higher education institutions. Must have 5 years of leadership/management experience related to quality assurance, accreditation, or institutional research.
• Skills: Knowledge of HEC ranking processes, HEC/QAA policies, NQF, and Outcome-Based Education (OBE) framework. Publications in quality assurance and higher education are required. Membership in quality assurance bodies (e.g., QAA, APQN, INQAAHE) and experience with international accreditation processes (e.g., ABET, AACSB, NCEAC, PEC) will be preferred.

2. Director ORIC (BPS-20)

• Education: PhD/MS/MPhil (preferably in Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or related fields) from an HEC recognized university. PhD will be preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience in academia, research administration, and higher education institutions. Must have 5 years of leadership/management experience in research development, technology transfer, or commercialization.
• Skills: Experience with HEC (IPR) funded research projects, research impact assessment, and commercialization strategies. Strong research profile with publications in impact factor journals. Experience in establishing innovation hubs, incubators, and startups. Membership in research organizations (e.g., IEEE, ACM, HEC ORIC Network, UNESCO) will be preferred. International experience in research collaboration and industrial linkages will also be preferred.

3. Director IT (BPS-19)

• Education: First Class Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (15 years of education) in Computer Science or Computer Systems from an HEC recognized university.
• Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in technical planning, designing, databases, networking, web development, video conferencing systems, e-learning networks, IT operations, IT projects, data center security, and ERP implementation in government, semi-government, or autonomous organizations. Must have 3 years of experience in BPS-18 or equivalent.
• Skills: CCNA Security or related certifications from reputable international organizations will be preferred.

4. Deputy Director Finance (BPS-18)

• Education: Master’s degree in Commerce, Economics, or Finance (First Class or equivalent) from an HEC recognized university/institution.
• Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience in accounts and audit in BPS-17 or above in a university, board, college, or government/semi-government institution. Candidates with experience in recognized commercial organizations are also eligible. Experience in public sector universities will be preferred.
• OR
• Education: B.Com (First Class or equivalent) with Finance, Audit & Accounts from an HEC recognized university/institution.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in accounts in BPS-17 or above in a university, board, college, or government/semi-government institution. Candidates with experience in recognized commercial organizations are also eligible. Experience in universities will be preferred.

• The maximum age limit is 45 years. However, a 5-year age relaxation may be granted to non-government employees and experienced candidates in exceptional circumstances.
