Associate Professor (BPS-19) Psychiatry

The Associate Professor (BPS-19) in Psychiatry will contribute to teaching, research, and academic activities within the Psychiatry department at the University of Health Sciences Lahore, on a contract basis.

• Conduct research and publish findings in relevant journals.
• Deliver lectures and practical sessions to students.
• Assist in departmental administrative tasks and curriculum development.

Applicants for Associate Professor (BPS-19) in Psychiatry must meet the following criteria:

• Basic Qualification: MBBS or equivalent medical qualifications fully recognized/registered by the PM&DC.
• Post Graduate Qualification: PM&DC level III Qualification in the respective subject like F.C.P.S/M.S/M.D OR other equivalent Level III qualifications in the specialty approved by SRC and recognized/registered by the PM&DC.
• Experience: Five (05) years of teaching experience as an Assistant Professor in the relevant Subject.
• Research Publications: Seven (07) research publications are required as Assistant Professor in the relevant subject. A total of nine (09) research publications in the relevant subject, of which seven (07) as Assistant Professor.
• Additional Requirement: As per PMDC criteria, applicants must have at least a level-IIa diploma or certificate of six months duration in Medical Education from a recognized University.
