Rawalpindi Women University is inviting applications for the following positions:

Eligibility and Qualifications

Professor (BS-21) – Computer Science/Information Technology

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Education: PhD in Information Technology/Computer Science/Electrical Information Engineering or in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution/DAI.
• Experience: 15 years of teaching/research experience in a recognized Institution/College/University or 15 years of professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization, out of which 5 years must be teaching experience.

Professor (BS-21) – Management Science/Business Administration

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Education: PhD in Management Science/Business Administration or a relevant field.
• Experience: 10 years post-Ph.D. teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution, or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.
• Publications: 15 research publications with at least 5 in the last five years in HEC/PEC recognized journals.

Associate Professor (BS-20) – Computer Science/Information Technology

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Education: PhD in Information Technology/Computer Science/Electrical Information Engineering or in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution.
• Experience (Option 1): 10 years teaching/research experience in a recognized Institution/College/University or 10 years professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization, out of which 2 years must be teaching experience.
• Experience (Option 2): 5 years post PhD teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.
• Publications: 10 research publications with at least 4 in the last 5 years in HEC/PEC recognized journals.

Assistant Professor (BS-19) – Computer Science/Information Technology

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Education: PhD in Information Technology/Computer Science/Electrical Information Engineering or in the relevant field or equivalent degree from an Institute or a University recognized by HEC.

Treasurer (BS-20)

The Treasurer position is offered on a 03-year contract basis, which is non-extendable. Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Age Limit: 40 to 50 years.
• Option 1:
  • Education: PhD in Finance or Commerce or Accounting or Auditing or Economics from an Institute or a University recognized by the Higher Education Commission.
  • Experience: 8 years post qualification relevant experience.
• Option 2:
  • Education: MS or M. Phil. (second division) in Finance or Commerce or Accounting or Auditing or Economics or equivalent qualification from an Institute or a University recognized by the Higher Education Commission.
  • Experience: 10 years post qualification relevant experience.
• Option 3:
  • Education: MBA in Finance or M.Com. or ACCA or ACMA or M.Sc. in Economics (second division) or equivalent qualification from an Institute or a University recognized by the Higher Education Commission.
  • Experience: 12 years post qualification relevant experience.

• The recruitment process will be conducted in accordance with the Recruitment Policy 2021 and HEC faculty appointment criteria.
• Applicants are advised to carefully read all terms and conditions before submitting applications. Incomplete or incorrect applications, discrepancies, or false/concealed information will lead to disqualification.
• Candidates possessing domestic/foreign degrees, diplomas, or certificates requiring equivalence must attach the relevant equivalence certificate issued by the Competent Authority (e.g., HEC/PEC/Inter Boards Chairman Committee, etc.). Failure to provide this will result in cancellation of candidature.
• Experience gained on Daily Wage, Part Time, Visiting, Honorary, or Apprentice basis will not be considered.
• Candidates already in government/semi-government service or autonomous bodies must apply through proper channel.
• Only Punjab Domicile holders can apply for non-teaching positions.
• Candidates from all over Pakistan can apply for teaching positions.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test and/or interview (where applicable). The decision of the University’s Authority will be final.
• Preference may be given to women subject to merit.
• No TA/DA will be paid for interviews/tests.
• The University reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of posts, not to fill any post, and/or withhold/withdraw the appointment against any advertised post.
