The Project Management Unit for the ‘UPGRADATION OF THQ BAIKER TO DHQ BAIKER DISTRICT NORTH DERA BUGTI’ & ‘ESTABLISHMENT OF 50 BEDDED HOSPITAL AT RAKNI DISTRICT BARKHAN’ is seeking applications for various contractual positions in 2026. These roles are based in Barkhan, Balochistan, and offer an opportunity to contribute to significant healthcare infrastructure development in the region. The Project Management Unit is inviting applications for the following positions:

Eligibility and Qualifications

1. Senior Assistant Engineer/SDO

Applicants for the Senior Assistant Engineer/SDO position must meet the following criteria:

• Qualification: BE (CIVIL) from any HEC recognized institution and registered with PEC.
• Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience in working on engineering projects, preferably with some supervisory or project lead responsibilities.

2. Computer Operator

Candidates for the Computer Operator role should have the following qualifications and experience:

• Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent from an HEC-recognized university/institution. Candidates with a relevant diploma/certificate in IT may also be considered, depending on project requirements.
• Experience: 05 years’ experience with technical skills.

3. Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor

For the Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor position, the requirements are:

• Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Experience: 2-5 years’ experience with technical skills, including proficiency in cost management software (e.g., CostX, AutoCAD), knowledge of construction contracts and laws (e.g., FIDIC), cost estimation and budgeting, cost control and reporting, valuation and payments.

4. Driver

The Driver position requires the following:

• Qualification: Literate.
• Eligibility Criteria: Valid Driving License (LTV) is mandatory. A Medical Fitness Certificate is also mandatory.

5. Cook/Chowkidar/Sweeper/Naib Qasid

For the roles of Cook, Chowkidar, Sweeper, and Naib Qasid, candidates must fulfill these conditions:

• Qualification: Literate.
• Eligibility Criteria: 2-3 years of relevant experience is mandatory. Applicants must be Local Pakistani, possess cleanliness, be able to safely handle tasks, be physically fit, and have experience working in remote areas according to site requirements.

• The contract for these positions will be for one year, extendable subject to satisfactory performance.
• Upper age relaxation of up to 43 years will be granted as per the Government of Balochistan Policy.
