Detailed Eligibility and Qualifications

1. Director/Business Development (PPS-10)

This senior role requires a strong background in project management and business development to lead strategic initiatives within the Ministry of Railways. The position is purely on a contract basis for two years or until the project’s completion, with potential for extension based on satisfactory performance.

• Qualification: MBA/MS in Marketing, Finance, or Project Management. An additional qualification in Project Management will be preferred. Candidates must have a minimum of 16 years of education, with all degrees recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
• Experience: Over 12 years of overall work experience in project management, including at least 5 years of experience in Public Private Partnership (PPP) projects.
• Skills & Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of business strategy development and implementation. Preference will be given to candidates with diverse experience in areas such as business portfolio management, marketing investment performance analytics, and PPP projects. Expertise in financial analysis and knowledge of MS Project/Primavera & MS Office are advantageous.

2. Deputy Director (Financial Analyst) (PPS-09)

This role is crucial for financial oversight and analysis within the project, focusing on financial modeling and reporting. The position is purely on a contract basis for two years or until the project’s completion, with potential for extension based on satisfactory performance.

• Qualification: MS in Finance, MSc in Economics, ACCA, CA, or a related discipline. Candidates must have a minimum of 16 years of education, with all degrees recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
• Experience: Minimum of 7 years of post-qualification experience, including at least 2 years of experience in preparing and analyzing financial modeling of projects.
• Skills & Knowledge: Proficiency in advanced software related to business analysis and financial modeling will be given preference. Knowledge of MS Office is also required.

Important Instructions

• The posts are purely on a contract basis for a period of two (02) years or until the completion of the project, whichever is earlier. The contract may be extended based on satisfactory performance.
