Job Overview

Eligibility Criteria and Qualifications

Candidates applying for the Head – Project Management & Transformation position must meet the following requirements:

• Education: A minimum of 14 years of education from a HEC-recognized or foreign institution is required.
• Experience: Applicants must possess a minimum of 07 years of post-qualification experience. Out of this, at least 04 years should be in relevant or Banking experience.
• Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in areas such as strong execution focus with strategic orientation, program and portfolio management, ability to identify and incubate transformation opportunities, excellent communication and stakeholder management, customer-centric mindset, risk assessment and mitigation, data-driven decision-making, and leadership and team development.

Key Responsibilities

The selected individual will be responsible for a range of critical functions, including:

• Leading centralized oversight of all critical projects & transformation initiatives across the Bank, ensuring structured execution & delivery discipline.
• Establishing and enforcing standardized project management frameworks, methodologies, and controls.
• Driving end-to-end tracking of project timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and outcomes across the portfolio.
• Ensuring prioritization and optimal resource allocation across competing projects/transformation initiatives.
• Developing concise, insight-driven dashboards and reports for senior management.
• Providing transparent visibility on project health, risks & mitigation plans, enabling timely executive decisions.
• Driving accountability and performance culture across project teams, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Ensuring benefits realization and alignment with defined business cases.
• Leading resolution of cross-functional dependencies and execution bottlenecks.
• Proactively identifying, shaping & developing new project ideas/transformation initiatives beyond the existing pipeline.
• Engaging with stakeholders (internal and external partners) to ensure alignment and execution support.
• Ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal control frameworks across all projects.
• Building and mentoring high-performing project delivery/transformation teams.
• Driving adoption of best practices, tools, and a result-oriented execution culture across the Bank.
