Eligibility Criteria

Nationality & Marital Status

• Applicants must be male citizens of Pakistan, Azad Kashmir, or Gilgit Baltistan.
• Both married and unmarried individuals are eligible to apply.

Age Limits (as of November 24, 2026)

• Junior Commissioned Officer (Naib Khateeb): 20 to 28 years. For serving military personnel, the age limit is 22 to 35 years with 1 to 16 years of service.
• Sepoy Trades: 17.5 to 23 years.
• Sanitary Worker: 17 to 35 years.

Age Relaxations:

• 1 Year Relaxation: For graduates or those with higher education.
• 2 Years Relaxation: For families of martyrs, individuals injured during war, and candidates holding a valid driving license.
• 3 Years Relaxation: For domicile holders of the merged districts of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
• Candidates claiming age relaxation must provide relevant supporting documents.

Height Requirements

• Junior Commissioned Officer (Naib Khateeb): Minimum 5 feet 3 inches (160 cm).
• Sepoy General Duty / Sepoy Driver / Sepoy Technical: Minimum 5 feet 6 inches (167.5 cm).
• Sepoy Military Police: Minimum 5 feet 8 inches (173 cm).
• Sepoy Clerk / Sanitary Worker: Minimum 5 feet 3 inches (160 cm).

Height Relaxation:

• A 2-inch height relaxation is available for domicile holders of Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (merged districts), and Gilgit Baltistan. This relaxation does not apply to Sepoy Clerk, Sepoy Military Police, and Sanitary Worker positions.

Educational Qualifications

• Junior Commissioned Officer (Naib Khateeb): Dars-e-Nizami from a Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized religious seminary. Minimum FA/FSc or equivalent. Proficiency in Arabic, Quran recitation, and Hifz (memorization) will be given preference.
• Sepoy General Duty / Sepoy Driver / Sepoy Military Police: Minimum Matriculation or higher qualification. For candidates from merged districts of Balochistan & Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and children of martyrs, a minimum Middle Pass is acceptable (except for Sepoy Military Police).
• Sepoy Technical Trades: Minimum Matriculation with Science (B Grade) or higher qualification.
• Sepoy Clerk: Minimum Intermediate (C Grade). For candidates from merged districts of Balochistan & Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit Baltistan, a minimum Intermediate (D Grade) with a computer diploma is required. Higher education will be preferred.
• Sepoy Cook: Minimum Middle Pass with cooking experience.
• Sanitary Worker: Illiterate, with preference given to Primary Pass candidates.

Quota

• A specific quota is reserved for minorities.

• Four passport-sized photographs.
• Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC).
• Domicile certificate and Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) for candidates from Azad Kashmir.
