The Junior Commissioned Officer (Naib Khateeb) serves in a religious capacity within the Pakistan Army, providing spiritual guidance and support to personnel. This is a permanent, pensionable position.
Requirements for Junior Commissioned Officer (Naib Khateeb)
Applicants for Junior Commissioned Officer (Naib Khateeb) must meet the following criteria:
- Education: Dars-e-Nizami from a HEC-recognized religious seminary. Minimum FA/FSc or equivalent.
- Skills: Proficiency in Arabic, Quran recitation, and Hifz (memorization) will be given preference.
- Age: 20 to 28 years as of November 24, 2026. For serving military personnel, the age limit is 22 to 35 years with 1 to 16 years of service.
- Height: Minimum 5 feet 3 inches (160 cm).
- Age Relaxation: 1 year for graduates/higher education, 2 years for martyrs' families/war injured/driving license holders, 3 years for domicile holders of merged districts of Balochistan & Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
