Qualification

• Ph.D. Degree (applicants enrolled in Ph.D. Program may also apply) in IR/DSS/Economics/Pol. Sc. or comparable discipline.
• Candidates must possess excellent analytical ability and experience with a particular focus on China, SCO, and Central Asia.

Core Competencies

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in a University, think tank, research institution, or policy-oriented organization, with a minimum of five HEC-recognized research publications.
• Strong leadership and team-management skills, including experience in supervising researchers and delivering quality outputs within defined timelines.
• Established professional networks with Chinese think tanks, research institutions, and universities, with experience in fellowships, joint research, academic exchanges, and international collaborations.
• Experience in conceptualizing and leading research projects, policy dialogues, conferences, and bilateral exchanges.
