About Manager Biomedical Engineering
Hayatabad Medical Complex is hiring for the post of Manager Biomedical Engineering in Peshawar.
The Manager Biomedical Engineering will oversee the maintenance, repair, and management of all biomedical and electro-medical equipment within the hospital, ensuring their optimal functionality and safety on a 3-year extendable contract.
- Manage and supervise the biomedical engineering department.
- Ensure all medical equipment is in good working order through preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Provide technical support for equipment in various hospital units, including OTs, ICUs, and diagnostic labs.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations for medical equipment.
Requirements for Manager Biomedical Engineering
Applicants for Manager Biomedical Engineering must be registered engineers with substantial experience in biomedical and electro-medical equipment management in hospitals.
- Education: BSC/B.E in Bio Medical Engineering/Electronics/Mechatronics/Electrical, registered with Pakistan Engineering Council.
- Experience: At least 06 years of experience in biomedical and electro-medical fields within a minimum 200-bed hospital, including 1 year of experience at manager/assistant manager level.
- Skills: Fully conversant with all patient care and medical equipment in Operating Units, Intensive Care, Clinical labs, Therapeutic, and diagnostic units. Hands-on experience with preventive and corrective maintenance of medical care equipment.
