The District Health Office Dir Upper is seeking applications for the following paramedical positions:

Eligibility and Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following minimum qualification and experience criteria for the respective posts:

• For CT Pathology, CT Pharmacy, CT Ophthalmology, PHC Technician Multipurpose, CT Cardiology, CT Dental (BPS-12):
  • At least 2nd Division Secondary School Certificate in Science from a recognized board.
  • Two years Diploma in the relevant Paramedical Technology from a recognized Medical Faculty or F.SC Medical Technology in the relevant Technology from a recognized board.
• For PHC Technician (MCH) BPS-12):
  • At least 2nd Division Secondary School Certificate in Science from a recognized board.
  • Diplomas of LHV & Midwifery from a recognized Nursing Examination Board.
  • Valid registration with Pakistan Nursing Council as LHV.

Important Instructions

• Candidates will be provisionally allowed to appear in the ETEA screening test based on the credentials provided. Detailed scrutiny will be carried out by the appointing authority, and any ineligible candidate will be disqualified.
• All candidates must create a profile on ETEA’s website. After creating the profile and before applying/depositing the fee, candidates must print an E-Sahulat token from ETEA’s website and get their CNIC verified from any NADRA E-Sahulat franchise (Kiosk). Without this verification, applications will not be accepted.
• The original deposit slip (candidate copy) with the bank stamp must be retained by the candidate at all times and must not be shared with any third party.
• Candidates qualifying the ETEA test will be screened for relevance based on eligibility criteria.
• Interview call letters will be issued only to shortlisted candidates, who will need to provide attested photocopies of all documents for scrutiny.
• Candidates must be eligible in all respects on or before the last date of application receipt.
• Applications received after due dates or incomplete applications, or those submitted with fake documents/information, will be rejected at any stage.
• Candidates working in Government/Semi-Government bodies should apply through the proper channel.
• Candidates intending to apply for more than one post must apply separately for each post with a separate fee.
• The advertisement will remain valid for one year. Upon expiry, the recruitment process will be re-initiated through a fresh advertisement. In special circumstances, the appointing authority may extend the validity period for a maximum of six months, for one time only.
• The Competent Authority reserves the right to publish a corrigendum through newspapers to increase/decrease the vacant slots if needed.
• Quota: 10% for Female Candidates, 2% for Disable Candidates, and 0.5% for Minorities candidates.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for test/interview.
• In case of foreign degrees, equivalent certificates from HEC must be provided.
• Errors/Omissions in the number of posts are subject to rectification.
• All relevant information will be displayed on the Notice Board of DHO Dir Upper.
• Shortlisted candidates must bring original documents along with their CNIC at the time of the interview.
