About Vocational Job Coach
Centre of Excellence for Autism Spectrum Disorder Company is hiring for the post of Vocational Job Coach in Islamabad.
The Vocational Job Coach will provide vocational training, job coaching, and employment support, with a focus on assisting autistic individuals and those with intellectual/developmental disorders in securing and maintaining employment.
Requirements for Vocational Job Coach
Applicants for Vocational Job Coach must hold a Bachelor's degree with 16 years of education in Vocational Education or a related discipline, with experience in vocational training and supported employment.
- Education: Bachelor's degree with 16 years of education from an HEC-recognized institution in Vocational Education, Vocational Rehabilitation, Career Counselling, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Special Education, Psychology, Rehabilitation Sciences, Social Sciences, Education or another relevant discipline.
- Training/Certification: Formal training or certification in autism/developmental disabilities, supported employment, job coaching, vocational rehabilitation, transition planning, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), or person-centered employment support is required or should be completed during the probationary period.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience in vocational training, supported employment, job coaching, vocational rehabilitation, transition services, special education or workplace support. Direct experience with autistic individuals with intellectual/developmental disorders will be preferred. Experience in café/hospitality, retail, workshops, product development, community-based employment or employer liaison will be an advantage.
