Safeguarding & Welfare Officer

The Safeguarding & Welfare Officer will be responsible for child safeguarding and protection, ensuring the welfare of children, especially those with disabilities and developmental disorders.

Applicants for Safeguarding & Welfare Officer must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline, with mandatory formal training/certification in child safeguarding and protection, and valid First Aid certification.

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Special Education, Child Development, or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized institution.
• Certifications: Formal training/certification in child safeguarding and protection is mandatory. Where the appointee does not possess the required certification at the time of appointment, it must be completed during the probationary period. Valid First Aid certification is mandatory. Where not held at the time of appointment, it must be obtained during the probationary period.
• Experience: Minimum 02 years of relevant professional experience in a successful completion of both the required safeguarding and First Aid certifications. Experience working with children with disabilities and/or developmental disorders will be preferred.
