Eligibility and Qualifications

Candidates applying for teaching positions must meet the eligibility criteria set by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). For administrative roles, specific qualifications and experience are required as detailed below:

Assistant Treasurer: First division Master/BS degree (16 years education) in Business Administration (Finance specialization), Commerce, or Chartered Accountancy from HEC recognized institutions.
Assistant Director Administration: First division Master/BS degree or equivalent (16 years education) from HEC recognized institutions.
Assistant Director Works: First division BE degree (Civil) or equivalent from HEC recognized institutions with valid PEC Registration.
Network Administrator: First division Master/BS degree or equivalent (16 years education) in Computer Science/IT/Software Engineering from HEC recognized institutions.
Sub Engineer: Second division BE (relevant field) or equivalent from PEC recognized university/DAIs OR First division Diploma of Associate Engineering (relevant field) with 3 years’ relevant experience.
Junior Clerk: HSSC in 2nd Division or equivalent, with a typing speed of 40 wpm and computer knowledge.
Tube Well Operator: First division Matric with Operator (Mechanical/Operation) certificate.
Mason: Second division Matric with 2 years’ experience in Masonry.
Assistant Cook (Female): SSC or equivalent with 3 years’ experience in reputable hotels/restaurants.
Naib Qasid, Aya (Female), Bearer (Female), Helper (Lady Searcher), Mali, Sweeper: SSC or equivalent.
Security Guard: Retired Armed Forces personnel with good physique (maximum age limit 45 years).

Application Fee Details

The application fee varies by position and is non-refundable:

Associate Professor: Rs. 11,000/- (Rs. 5,000 processing fee + Rs. 6,000 publication evaluation fee)
Assistant Professor: Rs. 5,000/-
Lecturer: Rs. 4,000/-
Assistant Director (Admin/Works), Network Administrator: Rs. 3,000/-
Sub-Engineer, Junior Clerk: Rs. 1,500/-
Tube Well Operator, Mason: Rs. 700/-
S.No. 9 to S.No. 16 (Assistant Cook to Security Guard): Rs. 350/-

The fee must be deposited using a prescribed challan generated through the Campus Management System (CMS).

Important Instructions

The age limit for all positions is 18 to 45 years, except for Security Guard (maximum 45 years for retired armed forces personnel).
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for tests/interviews.
No TA/DA will be admissible for tests/interviews.
The University reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of positions or cancel the recruitment process without assigning any reason.
05% (Minority) & 2% (PWD) quota will be observed as per rules.

Complete the online application form and upload all required documents and the fee voucher.
Generate the prescribed challan through the Campus Management System (CMS) and deposit the application fee as per the post.
For Associate Professor positions, email all publications in one PDF file to registrar_meetings@uom.edu.pk and submit four (04) sets of properly bound hard copies of publications for evaluation.
After online submission, candidates must submit the original bank deposit slip, a printed copy of the application form, attested copies of all documents, and two recent attested passport-size photographs to the Meetings Section, Office of the Registrar, University of Malakand. This must be done by November 23, 2026.
Incomplete applications or those submitted after the deadline will not be entertained.
Candidates applying for more than one position must submit separate applications with separate processing fees.
Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous Organization employees must provide a NOC from their respective employers.
Candidates with foreign degrees must provide an equivalency certificate from HEC/IBCC.
