• Deputy Registrar (BPS-18)
• Deputy Controller of Examinations (BPS-18)
• Network Administrator (BPS-17)
• Database Administrator (BPS-17)

Eligibility and Qualifications

Applicants must meet the specific qualification and experience requirements for each post as detailed below. All positions have an age limit of up to 55 years.

Professor (Medical Education) (BPS-20)

Candidates for Professor must possess an MBBS or equivalent medical/dental qualification recognized by PM&DC, along with a Level II b or Level III postgraduate degree/diploma in Medical Education, Health Professions Education, or a related field recognized by PM&DC. Required experience includes at least three (03) years as an Associate Professor or nine (09) years as an Assistant Professor in the relevant subject. Six (06) research publications as an Associate Professor are required, with a total of fifteen (15) research publications in the relevant subject, of which six (06) must be from the last three years. Level-II b holders are eligible to become Professor.

Director Quality Enhancement Cell / Institutional Quality Assessment and Effectiveness (IQAE) (BPS-20)

For the Director IQAE position, applicants should have an MS/MPhil or equivalent degree (18 years education) in Health, Medical Education, Life Sciences, or Management Sciences from an HEC recognized university, with 12 years of experience in Administration/Management in an HEC recognized public sector university or organization in BPS-17 or above. Alternatively, a Master’s or equivalent degree (16 years education) in the same fields with 15 years of Administration/Management experience in an HEC recognized public sector university or organization in BPS-17 or above is acceptable.

Deputy Registrar (BPS-18)

Candidates for Deputy Registrar must hold an M.A., M.Sc., MPA, or MBA from an HEC recognized university with 5 years of administrative experience, OR an MBBS degree with 5 years of teaching/administrative experience.

Deputy Controller of Examinations (BPS-18)

The Deputy Controller of Examinations requires an M.A., M.Sc., MPA, or MBA from an HEC recognized university with 5 years of administrative experience, OR an MBBS degree with 5 years of teaching/administrative experience.

Network Administrator (BPS-17)

For Network Administrator, applicants need an MS in Computer Sciences or a BE in Engineering from an HEC recognized university, with 2-3 years of experience in Network Administration and Management.

Database Administrator (BPS-17)

The Database Administrator position requires an MS in Computer Sciences, BCS, or BE in Engineering from an HEC recognized university, with 2-3 years of experience in Database Administration. Strong oral and written communication skills, good presentation skills, and in-depth knowledge of current leading databases, development tools, middleware, hardware platforms, operating systems, and multi-tier/client-server models of software systems and database technologies (e.g., Transactional, Relational, Object Oriented & Distributed Database) are essential.

• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in a reputable Public Sector Medical University/Institution.
• Experience, where prescribed, includes equivalent experience in a profession or in the service of an autonomous body or semi-autonomous organization or well-reputed private organization.
• Only post-qualification experience will be considered for eligibility.
• Relaxation in the upper age limit may be granted to suitable candidates as per statutes/rules of the Government of Punjab.
• Selected candidates may be posted at any campus of the University (City & Jinnah Campus KSK).
